My bet is that it was never as nearly done as they made out but they were putting on a brave face in the hope it would somehow come together, but it's become increasingly apparent the game is a turd and nowhere near releasable, and they're finally cutting their losses on it.

I think they should just release Stick of Truth out to keep people occupied (not that there isn't enough out there at the moment) until more news arises about Fractured, But Whole.

I've still got good hopes for a released Fractured. Trey and Matt being hands on with Stick of Truth and their insistent on its direction, did that game good.

They're either going to not release Fractured, or they will and it will be every bit as good as intended.
