Chelsea have played really well. You've got to give them credit too.

We should have played 4-3-3 from the start with Ighalo up front holding.

I knew we were doomed as soon as I saw the lineup

Still a crap United team and for me it was always obvious Chelsea would win today

I predicted 1-0 without United getting out of first gear and Giroud scoring the goal when we were talking about the game during golf this morning

Every Chelsea player has been far superior to us today. A big mistake to have changed the team. Ole has a habit of going 5 at the back when he knows the opposition are playing that. We are absolutely woeful at playing out from the back though.

Weird isn't it? Chance for a final, team playing pretty good since the restart and through strange tactical decisions and players who suddenly don't seem to know each other, the end result is embarrassingly weak.

Such a dire performance by us. I'm hoping we sort things out in time for Wednesday.

You beat Sheffield United, Norwich, Brighton, Bournemouth, Villa, Palace, and reading this forum and others you'd have thought the Ferguson days were back.

It's pure mentality. It's happened all this season and happened last season when we had an open net for 4th. They don't have what it takes with the pressure on. The second a game means something they are useless.

Sloppiest performance I can remember since January. Hopefully just an off day that can be put down to the lack of rest. Ole with 2 massive games now Wednesday and Sunday.

Still a decent day for us with Leicester losing. Top 4 and a good run at another EL wouldn't be a bad season considering I expected us to finish 6th and be on the managerial merry go round again.

Disappointed in the performance level and effort from the whole team, but fingers crossed it motivates them to win the next two league games. We've been on a great run of form, just need to keep it going.

Only started watching this just after the second goal so cant really comment on the quality.

Looking forward to a rematch of last years Europa league finalists! Cool for the winner to be either Lampard or Arteta! (Will be cheering on Arsenal I think).

We've also beaten Chelsea and Man City (twice) during this run.

But feel free to cherry pick to snipe because people have got a bit exited because we've been playing well for the first time in about 8 years.

Yeah I think I will be cheering for Arsenal as well, will be nice for them to get a trophy before their impending financial collapse.

Can watch the final as a neutral with a slight Chelsea leaning. Only so I can tune into ATFV and see the likes of Claude and DT totally lose their shit.

Just hope it's a cracker of a game like last night's was.

Even if De Gea didn't clown it up, we would have still lost.

Nobody turned up bar Bruno. I feel worse for him, he has seen how bad we can be now.

I wouldn't even say he turned up, everyone was dire today. So, so sloppy in possession.

Think you've had a few too many pints of Director's

Can't really see why out of every player on the pitch, you chose him to have a dig at. Yellow card aside (and at least he was getting stuck in because nobody else was) he was fine when he came on but too little too late.

    Always Pogba's fault.

    @Steve-Perry

Because like it or not he cost 80m+

Like Pepe you expect a reasonable return on investment, and at best hes rank average.

@THFourteen he came on for about 10 minutes.

And since he's been back we've won pretty much every match.
