Was a good game, I think we did enough to edge it. Arsenal losing both centre backs clearly made a difference but I will take it.
And also that we were chasing the game. Pundits surprised we were leaving gaps in the 2nd half... We were chasing the game ffs!
They even said that gaps would open up as we'd need to press for goals. Then criticised when exactly that happened. Damned whatever.

@Dougs gaps were apparent from 20 mins in tbf.

Yeah, both tops he sells will make him a fortune. Apparently he is really popular on social media with the young UN's though so maybe he will sell loads. I was surprised when my lad said he reckons he is probably our 3rd most popular player online after Pogba and Rashford.

Romero save at the start of the half was the difference maker.

He's too good to be a backup goalkeeper really.

He is, I don't think he is good enough to be our number one but he is easily good enough to be a number one somewhere else.

Lingard is Fortnite: The Football Player.

It shouldn't do well, but I'm sure more than enough 12 year olds will fall in line and snap up his gear for that not to be the case.

For both 1st half goals, sure. But otherwise it wasn't that evident until we were behind and chasing

Worst thing about Friday night football is the propensity to feel butthurt all weekend.

I know he's English and all, but I wouldn't mind if Lingard got a career ending injury. Dele levels of prickness.
    Lovely.

Some proper good stuff on this page.
Least Edd made it to AFTV though

I assumed VAR would be at all televised games. That inconsistency is hardly helpful.

Bloody Nora. I fancied our chances before the game as we have a habit of knocking out mid-league premier teams down on their luck but that was especially sweet, albeit with the handball goal..

Hats off to Millwall. They definitely take every opportunity to prove that they really aren't vermin subject to an unfair press 'narrative'.

Newcastle doing exactly what everyone knew they would and getting rolled over by Watford's reserves after the Blackburn replay. What a waste of time. The rest of the cup has looked so good this year.
