Bored of these re-releases and slightly tweaked models.

But i guess there's a finite number of models in the star wars universe so whatcha gonna do.

That Lando figís cape is awesome.

Iíll be having this. Gotta catch them all!

Still, be nice to have some re-releases of sets that havenít been done in a while. Like a TIE interceptor and Bomber. Cloud Car. ARC Starfighter.

I've already got 2 iterations of the Falcon in my house and am still fending off the urges of the UCS. Given the film looks fairly dreadful, easy pass.

Yeah. Seems there are significant differences other than the mandibles.

Indeed, it makes it look like an entirely different ship :(

Had this week booked off work, with the sole intention of building the Falcon.
Thus far have felt like crap since Friday night, and have spent most of the week in bed.
Finally started unboxing at 5pm tonight. Now have a dining room table completely covered in bags, and a 1.5kg manual to start working through.

    It's building time!

Had the job of transporting most of my Lego sets up to Mum and Dad's house so they're out of the way before we move in a few weeks. There's still Slave 1 to go but that's more manageable. Report:

Ghostbusters Fire station- completely intact from the outside. Daren't look inside yet.
Millennium Falcon- the 2 front bits fell off. Everything else seems ok. Daren't look inside yet.
    Kylo Ren's ship- Perfect.
Tower of Orthanc. Got there perfectly. However after removing from the car I held it from the middle and stupidly didn't hold the base, so the bottom half came off, shattering the entire middle partition. Managed to rebuild but with a few parts missing that I've had to order.

This was following the slowest car journey and grimacing at the sound of Lego pieces rattling around. Not advised.

Built the ship in a bottle yesterday. The bottle bit is quite fiddly in places.

Fuck me that's a pretty set.

Shame I couldn't care less about Harry Potter because I'd be all over that if I did care for it.

Ah I shall definitely be buying that for my sister.

She was a massive Harry Potter fan when we were kids, remember her queuing outside a bookshop on oxford street overnight for one of them.

Probably not so much now at the age of 30 but am sure sheíll appreciate the nostalgia!

Sweet. Sitting in bed watching Harry Potter while the four year old contributes progress on finishing her first model all by herself, no help. (Cinderellaís carriage, Disney Princess:). So will show her that in a bit, once she finishes this fiddly step.

Related, her mild interest in LEGO fucking *exploded* into full blown mania yesterday. This is our third set since yesterday morning.

And that set surely sets the record for including major mini figures in a single set.

Apparently this set will be connectable with other Hogwarts sets, to build a complete school, which makes it all the more tempting.

If it comes in at around £80-90, I'll almost certainly pick one up.

Building the UCS Falcon. I thought the chassis was big, but the first mandible has just gone on.

    Now it's really freaking big!

Even though its not like 'proper' lego, I quite like that. Bit pricey, but I guess that's all the printed and bespoke parts.

As a fan of UCS (style) large sets, and Marvel, that set has piqued my interest. Its expensive though, and I'm not expecting it to be that big.

    That IS nice.

Been so bored of the star wars releases recently, maybe i should start collecting another theme like Marvel (equally expensive of course)

My youngest son would LOVE that - Ironman is his favourite!!

Too pricy, though and I doubt it's something he could really play with...

The Elves theme continues to work my daughterís world. And my own. Such cool sets bursting with detail, color and form. And fucking dragons. And now turtles and foxes and other cool critters.

Seriously, even if you donít have young girls I recommend buying a 20-30 set and seeing what you think.

@Flying_Pig You inspired me to order the Space Shuttle Explorer and it's cousin Robo-Explorer 31062 for my kids.

Then I made the mistake of telling my youngest about it last night. Cue him not wanting to go to pre-school today because "I won't have time to build the LEGO set"

Hope to god they show up today... otherwise this weekend is going to be a nightmare...

    @Tonka Nice :)

The Shuttle looks really good 'in the flesh', and my kids have really enjoyed playing with it

I hope yours enjoy the sets too :)

I've been wanting a space shuttle for a while actually. Been a bit put off by the CITY version due to the massive single moulded piece. When I saw your link AND it was on sale it was a no brainer really.

The moon base alternative looks brilliant too.
