So after picking up the UCS Slave 1 at Legoland last weekend, I built it on Monday and I have to say, it looks fantastic! Such a brilliant looking set, but it's actually really strong and uses quite a few interesting building techniques.

It's really given me the bug to get the other UCS Star Wars sets now too, as they really make phenomenal display items. I am really eyeing up the Snowspeeder now :)

One of my favourite models that slave 1.

Got a half built snowspeeder for a few months now. Just haven't got the time to spare as it's all piled into FIFA and destiny 2 right now

The Lego Wind Turbine has made a return and is available to buy now. But at £160 for 826 pieces I think I'll give it a miss

I'm seriously starting to consider selling a lot of my stuff now.
I need to find a new apartment next year and I won't be able to display much. I don't want it all just sat in bags in storage.

I'll keep the Falcon and some other key items but I think it will be a bit of a reset of my lifestyle in general.

Surprised no one's mentioned that Lego program on Channel 4. Been a fairly good watch.

:( I got Stormbringer, the blue dragon thing that my boy wanted for £17, which I was chuffed with. And the X-Wing for £54 earlier in the Amazon sale, down from £90. Was also looking for the Harry Potter Great Hall to put away for him but no dice.

@the_milkybar_kid I love it, save for the rather creepy dad in the father-daughter combo.

The things that they create are just amazing, especially the two young lads and the teenage chaps.

I've been watching it! Enjoying it too. First season was good as well, worth a catch up on 4od if anyone has missed them.

    @H1ggyLTD You will regret it.

400 quid will be gone in a wink and then you're back at square one, except you won't have sealed copies of Jabba and Rancor. Unless you buy something else of lasting value.

I'm in a similar situation... Many years ago I did some free work for a french street artist. He sent me some stickers and stuff of his. One of those things was a small mosaic.

    It's worth around £15,000 today.

So I'm thinking... that's a shit load of money. At the same time. I'd never treat myself to a piece of street art for that amount, so I might just as well hang on to it.

Also... where the fuck did I put it?

Crikey. Magnitude of difference between 400 and 15k though. I'd be planning on selling it to fund the kids university or something!

Some tidy savings to be made on LEGO with the current eBay 15% off code (PRESENTS). e.g. LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron 42083 for £212.46

I have a Lego Boba Fett minifigure from Cloud city that routinely goes for 100 to 200 quid. Madness.

What a load of shit from an AFOL perspective.

However the 4+ ones are interesting.
