It looks like Lego have managed to prevent any leaks of next years modular building this time around. Official unveiling is on 3rd December :)

Looks like they're sticking with the 1950s Americana theme

    Looks great.

So what are people hoping for Lego wise for Christmas?

I'm not getting any as we've agreed it's been quite expensive this year and not to do presents to one another, and just focus the money on little monkey instead. But obviously I've still got her something, because I'm not that simple. (I got her a cuddly lion made out of his baby clothes).

The Lego Porg. And I know I'll get it as I've bought it for myself 😉 to go alongside my BB-8 build

I just finished building the Porg. Itís super cute. Does fuck all other than barely open its mouth and flap its wings but itís a great display piece. Not a bad build either.

Which is more than can be said fir the train from Solo. 77 fucking catipillar tracks.

Might put the Porg on my currently empty list. Will wait for it to go on sale tho.

Nothing for me, the Star Wars sets leave me cold.

The boy is getting the Lego city police station which I got on sale, looks quality. A bit past his building age but I can help.

No plans for lego this Christmas, but still have a few unbuilt sets to dig out.

I still have major plans to sort it all out though not found storage drawers I like yet.

I'm in a similar situation... Many years ago I did some free work for a french street artist. He sent me some stickers and stuff of his. One of those things was a small mosaic.

    It's worth around £15,000 today.

I have the LEGO Advent Calender and that'll do me, but I've got my Nephew the LEGO Jurassic World Indorapter House. The last item he needs from that set.

He's not expecting it, so that'll be nice!

@Singularity £75?! Very nice. I would buy this set if it had been one piece, instead of split up in to 3. It just looks like more of a play set than a display set. Can't complain for £75 though.

I've kinda ignored that set as it doesn't look Technic enough - I couldn't spot any really complex mechanisms...? Might be wrong, though

    Bugger!

I can't really justify purchases this close to Christmas or my wife will be irritated.

Someone at work is seeling the UCS Super Star Destroyer, Imperial Shuttle and OG Falcon.

Super tempted but really, really shouldn't. Especially as I think I'm going to end up selling most of my collection next year.

My youngest turned six yesterday and I got him the 31077 Creator Sweet Suprises and he built it all by himself. Really nice set. He's into free building houses with lots of cool pieces (i.e. every minifig accessory he can get his hands on) in them so it was a perfect build.

The little gumball machine is supercool

It's as Technic as any of the other vehicles. Working steering, the wheels make the engine pistons move etc, and I haven't built the trailer yet but I believe the cranes do a number of things.

    Fair enough :)

    @mickerty

I've picked out most of the builds, it's a decent spread across the different films / shows.

If it helps, https://brickset.com/ do a daily recap of what was in the calendar.
