In a moment of madness I've bought the Lego Disney Castle and the Batman Tumbler! Ouch.. the castle is for the kids, of course ;)

    The Tumbler is great.

And the castle is obviously for you to build. (Although props for finding a way to display Lego in the kids rooms...)

My work mate has submitted a pretty astounding Zelda LEGO idea project. Could do with your support, think it deserves it!

It's doomed anyway. Nintendo won't allow the license.

Yeah, looks amazing but Nintendo will never let it happen.

Bought the Mustang yesterday. Hadn't bought any LEGO in quite a while.

Best site for individual pieces? My son has a habit of opening up the bags and scattering them over a wide area. Can usually cover things but there's a technic set where I haven't got a replacement piece amongst the thousands of Lego pieces he has.

    Call LEGO and get it?
    Otherwise Bricklink is the de-facto.

Why wouldn’t they? Perfect fit, LEGO & Nintendo.

Anyway, maybe a long shot but worth a vote regardless!

Nintendo have a history of going out of their way to absolutely:

    a) refuse any sort of commercial partnership that could bring them commercial success, because...NINTENDO

    b) they were originally a toy maker and have a bit of an issue with Lego in the past, which they won't let go of and move away from because...NINTENDO

Great set. Would love to buy it. Don't mind voting for it. Never gonna fucking happen though.

I'd love a Zelda set one day. But as KM says, Nintendon't. There was a good set that made it to review but not to production.

I will but i've voted on so many!

As others have said, Nintendo are too precious about their licences, so it'll never happen.

    Great model though!

Are you happy with the Mustang? I’d like one of the cars, tempted by the 911 and the Bond car.

I haven't built it. No idea when I will. I really like the model though.
I also like the 911 but I have the orange version already.
I think the Bond looks like arse.

Out of interest how are you displaying them? I've rapidly ran out of space so considering a unit specifically for lego.

I got the Technic Rally Car for my birthday last week.

While it's far from being the most complex build, the end model looks great - it's really well proportioned.

I've resisted the Flintstones set, but this is another matter. Lego why do you have to keep making these wallet opening sets that don't fit in on any display surfaces, but I still want them?

It's certainly a big improvement on the Ideas submission, but it doesn't set my heart on fire.

I took the kids to see TLM2 earlier today - pretty good, but not quite as good as the first, IMO.

Still, it inspired us all to do some free building - we all came home and made some Mad Max style vehicles - I modified a part destroyed aeroplane and re-did the ice cream truck from the first film :)
