    Shit - that tempting!

Edit: And bought. I've no idea how I'm gonna sneak that into the house! :D
Excellent work my man - has the buyers remorse passed yet?

    Nope ;)

I should get it delivered later this week. Then I think I'll have to 'store' (i.e. hide) it in the garage

    :)

Is it for you or 'your child'?
I would love to have the time to sit and make a huge technic crane but cant really justify getting if for myself. The boy is only 4.5 so he will be next to useless with it....

Definitely for me. I get the Technic Lego, my boys get City, Star Wars, Ninjago etc etc etc. My wife just despairs at the thousands of small plastic bricks all over the house.

I don't really have the time either, but an hour here and there and it all comes together :)

    @up_the_ante

Big Bird has the potential to be the largest lego set ever.

500,000 yellow bricks to make a giant fat round body.

Possibly not the most interesting build though.

LEGO Playable Piano? I mean, actual WTF? How much is that going to cost with all that complexity?!

I'm glad I could broadcast this temptation to some here. I myself am still wrestling with the idea.
It's still 230 on the lego site.

Has anyone seen this new Overwatch set with the hamster? Looks great for 18. Don't know what overwatch is right enough

Wreaking ball? Looks cute, I love the mech design more than the little hamster though :)

@IronGiant It's an epic build and looks awesome when finished. Even the box is nice since it has drawings of Bugatti's around it.

Argh! If I hadn't just dropped 150 on the Technic Crane, I'd grab that in a heartbeat! :(

The chiron is a fantastic set, the box is a work of art.

A bit gutted about the fact i didnt hold out for the 180 price, but I was worried it would go to EOL and the price would start rising.

I am a bit of a newbie still on pricing but will get it eventually.

Argos have the Ninjago Bounty at half price, also the cheaper of the Porsche 911 sets.

    I've just grabbed both ;)
Well spotted. Grabbed the Porsche. I see the Bugatti is also reduced by 25% to 225, but that's still too expensive for me...
Finished building the Porsche 911 this evening. Its looks great when finished, but was a pretty dull build in the most part. It's not a patch on its orange bigger brother.

Well for the first time in almost 30 years I got Lego for my birthday. Not expecting a thing, when along comes the Apollo 11 rocket!

Not started building yet. Just in awe of the box and the number of packets - what an amazing feeling!

Lego is something I ask for a lot for birthdays :) I might be asking for that crane actually if it's still a reasonable price.

That Bugatti is tempting but I already have the red supercar from a few years ago and they're pretty similar.

I was only slightly pissed that I got the rocket - my plan was to maybe get myself the crane as a present but I can't justify 2 huge sets in the one go.

    Or can I?

I know - it looks fucking awesome.
But the Technic Rough Terrain Crane is great, and the little Overwatch ball is great. And the anniversary snow speeder is great....!

The new Technic Liebherr R 9800 looks great, but is crazy expensive at 400!
