It is super amazing. I'm going to have to build something so it can be stacked up above the Tumbler for display purposes.

I'm a bit out of touch with my Lego prices lately, life seems to have got in way a bit lately, I've seen a brand new Lego Saturn V for £85 for sale, my googling suggested this was a good price at the moment, has this set ever been discounted this much before does anyone know?

Even at £110 I considered the Saturn V one of the very few better value for money sets. I don't know if it's been any lower but at £85 I'd snap it up. It's surprisingly big and a really nice centre piece.

    Buy it, definitely.

Actually, at that price buy two if you can and sit on one for a few years as I have a feeling that the Saturn V will be worth a few bob once it's been retired.

So we've been loaned the UCS Millennium Falcon by my brother-in-law. Its arrived in bits, with the first 8 or so bags having previously opened with the pieces now all mixed together, leaving us to search through about 3,000 grey Lego pieces...

Oh and there are definitely some bits missing...

But, we've built the main superstructure and are working on some of the inner compartments. It's both maddening and absolutely brilliant.

Gah bits missing, how frustrating, depends what they are of course and what you have in your own Lego for substitutes, a bit of a PITA if you have to ask Lego for replacements. Still sounds exciting nonetheless, why has your BIL lent it to you?

I did get the Saturn V, safely in the loft now until the wife becomes unaware again as to what I have up there.

My Christmas build this year is the London bus, nice fun build nothing challenging, love the spiral stairs, so clever.

He bought it ages ago as part of a graphic design project but never got around to finishing it. A change in circumstances meant that it ended up being dumped in a black plastic bag in a part-built state - hence the missing pieces. Nothing too critical so far, but I'll have to buy replacements. I'm waiting until I've got enough to justify a purchase.

As it's a loaner, I'm really keen to avoid dipping into my own stuff to substitute for the missing pieces.

Just ask lego for the missing bits, it's pretty hassle free, presuming it's not like half the set :p

Bummer you know they'll send you (or whoever bought it) the missing parts, I was thinking about this last night as it happens I wonder what time frame they have whereby they won't send out replacements FOC.

LEGO support is great, I didn't even have a missing piece and they replaced it; it was just smudged with some sort of ink out of the box. It was for the Saturn V kit, and I thought it would spoil it.

I explained in the "Missing Piece" form, and they replaced it no questions asked.

Don't hesitate to contact them regarding missing or damaged pieces, they'll come to the rescue I'm sure of it.

I bought a Lego camper van five years ago. I only built it this year. Had a missing piece and it was an exclusive piece as well.

Filled out the form not expecting much hope considering I bought it five years ago... Got the missing piece in the post within a fortnight, no questions asked and even an apology.

Yeah, you dont actually need to prove when (or if) you bought it, from what I recall. Totally done in good faith.

Like I said, as long as you don't take the piss it should be fine.

Got dva and Reinhardt for xmas, picked it out myself as had my eye on it for a while and it was like £20.
Dva is one of my mains and itís a cool representation. Not so fussed about Reinhardt though, the size is off and itís just a big knight really. Am I selling it short as Iíve scarcely given it a second look so far though I will get round to it.

I actually got Wrecking Ball for Christmas. Not really a fan of overwatch (anymore) but the mech is cool and the hamster is so cute.

I'll either go down this route or the brick sellers. I'm trying to wait until I have a decent number of missing pieces (6 so far, none particularly rare) before I order them...

Been working my way though the Hidden Side sets, for, ahem, the daughter.

They are lots of fun to build and some are very cool models. All of them are loads better than the box would lead you to believe.

Which is something Iíve noticed with lots of sets for a few years now. Both the First Order and Resistance transports looked absolute gash in photos but were great builds and excellent models in the flesh, so to speak.

I'm sometimes the other way around, a bit disappointed with the model when the pictures look pretty cool. Must be really tough to photo models.

Well I finished the bus, looks really sweet, the spiral stairs, which I said I really liked as per my previous post kind of end up doing nothing when they get to the top deck but I can see why they did it and a bit irrelevant really as they can't be seen. I properly fucked up one sticker, the red stripe down the centre of the front top deck window which should've been bang in the middle, oh well, I know no one else will ever notice but it will bug me forever!

Have one of these fellas to finish next, not really sure if I like it and it'll make it onto display yet, will see after its built, picked it up for not much off eBay. https://www.coleka.com/media/item/201704/24/lego-creator-cool-convertible-4993.jpg

I really regret missing out on the Lamborghini police car that went for not much on eBay a few years back, they're too much (for me) now.

    UCS Millennium Falcon update:
We've now reached the point my BIL got to (up to bag 10) - the main structure is complete as well as the front mandibles and 4 'rooms' surrounding the central core.

The missing piece list great to more than 30 pieces - all have been ordered either direct from Lego or via Bricklink.

Once they arrive we can complete the sections we've started before moving on to the bags, which should be considerably more straightforward
