Are you tempted by the lighting kit for it?

Tempting but too expensive, a 3rd of the set price for a few lights.

Looks nice, but because we're tight on space, the Mustang will only be on display for a month or so. When I want to build something else, it'll have to come apart, so not really worth investing in LEDs.

God, this. I just made the '89 Batmobile and the Harley, and it's just incredible how they do it. Designing from the inside of the model out and getting functionality as well as looks is just absolutely beyond me.

Anyone seen any of the US Lego Masters series yet? I heard personal hero Jamie Berard was on it as a judge so I had to check it out. I'm halfway through the first episode but I don't know if I can finish. They've picked some of the most annoying contestants possible. You have to have an outrageous dress sense, make extreme facial expressions constantly and a have a "hey I'm so wacky" personality.

I got annoyed with the UK version - I don't think I could watch the US version without throwing things at the TV.

Sounds like a recipe to destroy the show.

Yeah. Looks OK, but I don't think it does it justice. Expensive too.

Not keen on any of the new stuff. Minions being play sets isnít for me, and needing to buy 2x to build all 3 is crap. Mando sets are dull, D-0 is a crappy droid anyway, and out of scale with R2 and BB-8.

Which is fine as I can do with not spending more money.

Iíll bet itís a lot more impressive in the flesh. Lots of SW sets look gash in photos but are a different beast when you build them.

The First Order Transporter looks total mince in any pic but is one of my favorite sets of the last five years. And I have almost all of them.

Besides, that Baby Yoda minifig... this set is going to evaporate as soon as it goes on sale

That DO set on the other hand. Itís fucking tiny for the piece count. Look about twenty studs high for seventy bucks? Not sure Iíd even bother shoplifting that.

Looks good, I like the paint, easal & painting (though it's probably a sticker - yuk)

75 for 960 pieces seems pretty good, but the size of it isn't that impressive given the price.

@Khanivor just saw this - agree totally.
Lego is weird it can look utter pish in a photo and be amazing in real life. They need to develop their photography techniques or something as it never shows the real tectonics of the piece.

Ahh I like that it's really sweet, my wife would love it too, expect that'll be the next one to go on the shelf.

Got the Bugatti Chiron for my birthday \o/

I've only done a few bags so far - really just the rear axle and gearbox (which is a thing of Lego beauty).

    The packaging is also lovely

It's awesome. Not usually a fan of technic but I like it.

I'd take it further and try and motorise it ;)

Some kind of Lego/Mario collab coming. The implication is the Mario is electronic, but there's definitely standard-ish blocks and pieces when it scrolls to show the [?]

It really is a beast of a model, looks great and the sequential gearbox is awesome as well.

    Lego Mario looks interesting.

    https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2020-03-12-lego-super-mario-isnt-your-traditional-toy-set

Bit out of the box for Lego, but I guess the Hidden Side Lego stuff was a step in that direction.

I think I'll leave this one to the kids. Doesn't look like Lego to me.
