Yep, there's really only two viable options: either buy the dishes in another colour (which are still plentiful) and respray them the correct red with a thin top coat of gloss, or source some knock-offs from AliExpress (which are cheap, but may be slightly off-colour and/or loose fitting).

I'll investigate and update when I've worked something out! :)

Anyone have this set? Thinking of getting it for the lads birthday and during to the museum in Animal Crossing, thought it would be a good piece.

Somehow I've managed get the Lego Dodge charger, and for £10 less than Lego's store.

Thought they were sold out... Looks like they're not in Game. Link.

They have the release date wrong by a week, but I can wait...

    It's been posted... Amazing

I was thinking of custom building a conference centre and branding it like a Comic-con as a setting for all the various branded minifigs, but last night had the fun idea of doing a parade instead. I will need lots of lego trucks to convert.

It looks better than the usual Technic bikes, plus I have a soft-spot for anything Ducati :)
Looks cool, and I'll be getting that.

Has anyone got the international space station?

I've not really paid much attention to it but just seen it on the website and it looks stunning.

Just completed the Toy Shop 3 in 1 Creator set, a simple build, but looks good in the city layout.

I would like the lander and the ISS to go with my Saturn V. Very happy they have made more than one special space set.

I still have the technic rough terrain crane sitting in the attic in its box.

Where ever really. I have the Mario set on preorder at smyths. Preorder is always full RRP so might as well get the Lego VIP points.

My eldest son is very excited by the new Harry Potter sets. He has most of them from the last release so these look like a good addition.

He wants 'all of them' for his Birthday in October...

    That's a 4000+ piece set. Fuck that's a monster.

I've just finished part 1 of the Lego GT3 after sitting on it for 4 or 5 years.

    This is a colossus!

That's part of the appeal. I love the huge technic sets. That price though... Even at £300, its tough to justify

I have it, it's an awesome build. It looks fantastic and it's overall an absolute beast. But it needs 12 batteries and an app on your phone to run.

And that's the bit I'm stuck on. I like the idea of an app to control it, but I'm also turned off by needing an app to control it.

I suppose I could always get the apk and store it with the set, so it's still usable in the future...

Has anyone actually got the big Millenium Falcon? It's pretty tempting with the double VIP points and 20% off via TCB but I just don't know how I would display it once it was built.

What a weird concept, why don't you finish it, break it down and start over again?
