I've started to see the new Landrover driving round the streets lately.
It looks almost as plastic as the Technic version. But not actually too bad!

    Ordered the Shuttle :)

Amazingly Mrs F_P was all for it, although I can't see me building it for a while, as there's a serious lack of display space...

Same here, already have Saturn 5, Apollo and the ISS so needed to complete the set, but due to lack of space not sure when Iíll build it. Still got the UCS Millennium Falcon sat in a cupboard waiting to be built.

You are missing the lunar lander.

The Space Shuttle has arrived! Not started on it yet, but it looks much more ďpremiumĒ than the Saturn V and Apollo 11 sets.

Think Iíll take my time building this one, not least because I donít really have anywhere to put it once itís done!

I finally got around to framing a load of minifigs that have been sitting in a box for years. The cheap Ikea framing technique! Looks pretty good though I think. I found a lot of the newer series minifigs don't actually fit on the 4x2 blocks with the size they are now and all the extra bits etc.

Looks good, I did something similar a few years ago.

What frames are those? How did you stick the 4x2 blocks?

The frames are Ikea Ribba. They don't seem to do large square ones anymore unfortunately so had to go rectangular. I also had to paint the inside edges of the frame white as they were unpainted as the backing plate is normally pushed up against the transparent plastic.

The mounts are 4x2 bricks from pick-a-brick, and yes I did have to use the old kragle to fix them (just the blocks - not the minifigs - I'm not a monster)

Anyone have any luck getting the Ulysses Space Probe this morning? The VIP section of the site kept crashing and by the time I finally managed to load the rewards page it was gone. Would make a good companion to the Discovery set.

I didn't know it was coming, but it looks like lots of people experienced the same thing

There was a TV show on E3 last night called Lego Masters. Did anyone catch it?

I managed to secure a Ulysses probe more by luck than design - just kept hitting F5 until I got past the T&Cs problem. It will be built and displayed with the rest of my space kits, as it should be, not resold at a stupid markup.

Mind you, I'd have preferred "winning the F5 lottery" for a RTX3080...

@Wayne Here in the Netherlands we're already in the second season. I've only seen it a couple of times (I never watch TV), but what I saw I liked. Last weekend one of the assignments was to create a 3D Lego version of a classic painting. Some of them were amazing!
