Registered 11 years agoI'm finding races do load quicker. I'm deffinately on my iPhone less time between races!
Not touched multiplayer pre or post patch -
Ditto. Seems noticeably faster, although not exactly lightning fast either.
I also seem to have jumped a few hundred places in the leaderboards, so yay for booting glitchers. \o/ -

HD on the PS3 never really clicked for me, but this is just great.
Loading times were never really an issue for me, in fact I get a little annoyed that I don't have the time to flick through the stats panels and see what times my friends are doing and what I've got to beat.
(noob) also never realised the importance of choosing the right Ship for the relevant event. And that they are broken down into Speed, Agility... Etc. I know what a dick.
I also like the network implementation, similar to Mototstorm RC, where you can see your friends achievements and go directly to that race and try to beat them.
Really really enjoying it. Think I'll load up HD on the 3D TV downstairs and see if I can make that click too.

Ps3trophies has dlc trophies up for this today. Looks like we'll be getting the fury and hd pack soon.
Don't know if the welcome back scheme will be incorporated into this though.
Hopefully. Either way can not wait for more wipeout. Yeehaw -

Curious to see how the HD syages play in 2048, i felt the handling in 2048 was a lot more forgiving (even with all the assists off) than HD.

Can you not already play the HD tracks through Cross-play? I'm pretty sure it was loading me into Moa Therma last time I tried it, but I be bothered for the other two racers to finish their race. -
@ZizouFC As far as I know its free to those who own it on PS3. Not sure about if you received it as the welcome back package though. -

Seems to be a solid list of fun stuff here. Also adds to an already excellent package. Hope theres a few new tunes on it though.
I'm guessing with the recent patches and stuff the load times are much better now? Any other issues with the game? Hopefully the PSN version will be on sale tomorrow, as it's definitely the sort of game I'd like to keep on the console. -

Registered 9 years agoI had Wipeout HD (free from after the hack), but deleted it when I needed space on my hdd. Now the dlc for this isn't showing as free for me, and I can't seem to download Wipeout HD (or any of the freebies from Sony) again without paying...
I get that the offer expired but I didn't know I could't download my chosen games again...

Registered 14 years agoWell I hope you get it working because this game is shit your pants good on vita.
It's transformed a game I wast really that into (2048 is too cluttered for me to see what's going on) into the game I played most on my ps3. I'm really impressed with their attitude of 'free to existing customers'. It's really smart, and really good value.
It's noticeably lower res though, not that it matters. -
