Registered 12 years agoA "nice" update this week with 2 new games out. First up is Stealth Inc, the latest indie hit that you might know better as Stealth B**tard. The game is cross-buy and there's a promotion to get the DLC for free if you buy the game within the next 2 weeks (the DLC will appear as free once you have bought the game). It seems to be getting good reviews but I haven't the foggiest idea what it's about so ask everyone else for more info .
Aside from that, there's also (NOT) Mahjong Royal Towers, which is your good old fashioned Shanghai/Pairs style of Mahjong. There's a demo for those not sure what the hell I mean. Aside from that, there's a load of Dead or Alive costumes (cheerleaders), the aforementioned Stealth Inc DLC, some new Guacamelee DLC and a shedload of Everybody's Golf Lv 4/5 clubs and balls which is quite frankly - stupid.
Oh plus Machinarium and A-Men are on sale for £2.39 (£2.15 for PS+ members) each.
Next Week

Registered 13 years agoCan anyone explain what the Guacamelee DLC is? Is it another story section, or just more combat arenas? -

Played 10 missions and so far I am loving it. Great art style, perfect controls and challenging puzzles. Even the music has tons of style.

And it even has cross save and cross buy. Though I doubt I will play it on my PS3. It is perfect for the Vita and looks glorious on the OLED. -

Registered 11 years agoIt's annoying how a lot of the smaller releases hover at over £20. I would pick up a lot of the games like the first motorbike game and WRC3 if they were £10.
I'd even buy CoD for £10 but it's still £20 at the cheapest. How can such a rubbish game hold such a high price for so long? It's insulting that they are still asking £45 for it on the PSN.

Registered 12 years agoNot sure whether I should mention it, but I'll risk it... WRC 3 is only £14.98 from Zavvi at the moment (in their 48hr pay day deals). -

Registered 9 years agoSo is there any chance of a sale in the coming weeks? I have some credit burning a hole in my PSN wallet. -

Registered 11 years agoThere is definitely a sale incoming, whether it will include Vita I don't know. Considering PlaystationMemories has included every Sony device including the PS3 in order of release it's probably fair to bet that Vita is next. -

That's a really good point. We had a PSP sale right before PlaystationMemories so maybe we won't get handhelds, or maybe they will be combined.

Registered 10 years agoPlaystation Memories was announced as 8 week sale, 2 weeks for Ps1, two weeks for Ps2, two weeks for PS3 ...
so the final two weeks, starting next week (not today) MUST be handheld ... whether PSP, Vita or (I expect) both... -

Registered 11 years agoNice. Hopefully both next week then like you say. Hopefully PSP games that haven't appeared on sale recently as well. They've reduced all the first party and rubbish third party games so hopefully we will see some good third party games. -
When is Splunky supposed to be released? Said July on the advert I saw.
