Ha ha! Did I? I was hugging a lot of people. I'm a very huggy guy - just ask psychokitten..
Have the rest of the pics that were taken at the after party surfaced yet? There were some group shots i wouldnt mind seeing. I vaguely remember Alastair drunkenly hugging me for a photo too.
it's a ploy to canvas votes for Nicest Forumite 2012 -
The hugging and groping was on form. I was a very happy man

I didn't keep count, but it would have been around 10 times -
@Ignatius_Cheese You're telling me! Got used to making that trip to the Expo for several days, now it's back grey old London suburbs, grey skies and it's pissing down with rain. This is definitely one of my least favourite days of the year, but you can look at it as the beginning of the countdown to the next Expo

Has anyone got anything game related that they picked up for free that they don't want or want to swap for other stuff? Got a few things here I could get rid of like a spare Hitman figure

Heh. I've had a haircut, aged a couple of years and lost about two stone since my old profile pic. I do keep meaning to get another one done but I normally hate having my picture taken so most of the ones of me are when I'm too drunk to give a toss, then I look at them later and cringe.

My booty haul for the Sunday:
Crysis 3 TShirt (absolutely huge)
Hitman figure
Large Carmageddon sticker
Fluid football stickers
Warface TShirt in a flat hand grenade packaging (you'd know what I meant if you saw it)
A Razer Tshirt + a Razer pendant on a chain I received from the very neck of the american guy running the Razer section.gif)
And a Darwinian signed by the three guys from Introversion at the dev session.gif)

@pinebear It's actually not until I read these past few comments that I realized something. When I had a go on the game, I played as a marine armed with pretty much just a pulse rifle, and at that time I would have been playing against that team, as they were only playing as aliens the whole time I was queuing up or having a go on the game. I wiped the floor with them! -

I think they deliberately go easy on people. Shame I didn't get to try it - everyone I spoke to about it said they loved it. Which is quite reassuring, as after such a lengthy development time I was a bit concerned. I mean, it's been in development what, for six years or something now? I have a feeling it was actually announced before the PS3 was even released.

In general I found everyone there to be pretty awesome really, even the people I usually, erm... clash with on the forum I got on fine with IRL. One of the best bits of the expo for me is being able to put a face to a name and get a more genuine impression of them than you're able to on the forum, normally with pleasantly surprising results. -

Registered 20 years agoListening to Nick's "match report" made me chuckle.
"I just beat two kids. They were clearly playing with characters they'd practiced with, but they didn't know how to counter me. I even played with characters I don't know but I still beat them because they only knew how to play one way... etc etc..."
He was chuffed. Whether is was simply because he'd won, or because he's beaten two kids was less clear. -
Which one of you gave me the Expo Lurgy? I feel dreadful today (totally worth it though) -

Registered 14 years agoGot a lovely email from the EG team this morning with a nice thank you and a code for a free month of PS+. Lovely!
Now we must make sure that no codes go to waste so I propose that those PS3/Vitaless people spread the love ļ
Either through the freebies thread or my inbox
Thank you -
@psychokitten Likewise I am lurgied up good. Some virilent strain obviously whipped through Earls Court like something out of Contagion.
Only @asphaltcowboy appears to be immune. Damn his good genes!
