Registered 14 years agoI wasn't expecting it to be great. I'd have settled for average with above average to good multiplayer. I actually quite enjoyed the beta despite the flaws but not enough to pay full price for. -

Registered 13 years agoPeople take too much notice of reviews,Rent it out and decide for yourselves, I played 4-5 levels of halo 4 last weekend and got bored,doesn't mean its a bad game and will probably get 9/10 but it didn't win me over. Everyone has different tastes and opinions, don't go on another persons opinion. This will probably be €20 by christmas and well worth it for something different online .gif)

Registered 13 years agoI only take notice if there's consensus among critics, but even then I use actual player feedback as a barometer more than the critics. The issue for me isn't so much the money but more wasting my time playing/renting a game in the first place only to find out its a dud. In that respect, reviews have a place in helping me narrow down by "to get round to playing" list in advance. -

Registered 13 years agoIIRC, the first rebooted MOH could be had for a tenner brand new just a couple of weeks after release. I don't expect this to be any different, particularly given that it's being released in such a crowded period against so-called big guns it just can't hope to compete with, particularly so close to Christmas.
Stop trying to position it against COD, and release it during the summer drought instead.
The way publishers and marketing deliberately place their games in direct competition with other companies is stupid. There's no reason why competition can't exist in a market side by side. This unhealthy determination to obliterate competing products is self-defeating. -

Registered 13 years agoUnfortunately after playing 20 mins of this game it was enough for me, I take back what i said earlier that this would be a good purchase when the price drops. From the very intro mission this game is terrible, it just feels and plays wrong.The controls are awkward and sluggish. The intro is suppose to set the pace for this game, the hook to reel u in and it did the complete opposite for me, horrendous and graphically its not a patch on BF3, its actually quiet ugly and thats on ultra settings on pc. Very disappointed 
was really looking forward to this. Stick to Bf3.

Actually the most enjoyable level so far was one of the driving levels, escaping a security team then hiding at pre determined locations
Very generic, dodgy AI. Some good parts but they are few not many
Some of the gunfire sound effects in middle of a shoot out are great.
Some levels look better than others.
Could say the campaign is just like COD except COD is better with the whole showcase love it or hate it . Even tho I find the SP boring most of the time
COD has better overall package, MP not everyone loves it but its successful, zombies mode which looks great. Actually what I'm looking forward to most in the next COD

Story spoiler if anyone is interested. Recreated the Madrid suicide train bombings from 2004 I believe. . In game u see a suicide bomber blow up a train in Madrid. Trying to tie this game into real life events.
Anyway will replace it with Forza today

crashing...sometimes the speech it's gone...btw it keep crashing just before the first car mission...
and the MP it's not much better...first spawn was on a lake of white, falling from the heaven...lol -

There wasn't a total of 30,000 people playing this on saturday 5pm GMT globally on all 3 formats combined.The biggest figure was 10,900 on PS3.
