    Sunsetted?

Is that a thing now? :(

Well, 'twas a great app. I'd suggest you "medalled" with it.

A strange decision, I'll always prefer to use an app for a site I visit a lot as you can get more features like scheduled downloads and offline reading. More efficient use of bandwidth too as you're not re-downloading assets all the time

Also, doesn't 3 million 'uses' (whatever that means) tell you something about the demand for the app?

Er, Safari has a cache too you know!

I'd personally moved to the mobile version of the site and had stopped using the app, but it was very nice to have while it was needed. Thanks Vroom!

Wow I didn't realize the mobile site was so good. There's me struggling with this app. I'm sat on the loo as I write this and it will be the last time I use the app. Many thanks it's been great.

The ability to read articles offline was an absolute godsend in my last job, and the one thing the mobile site can't properly replicate. RIP EG app!
This and well done for making a career out of it!

So 'sunsetted' = 'abandoned to die' ?

    Like a stray dog ?

For shame, the App is a mighty beast, and deserves a bullet between the eyes, at the very least.

I've said it before, but Good Work, Vroom!

I shall now salute while I delete the App, and see it off with dignity.

I like the app. It has nice animation for the
transitions. You don't get that on a website

Vroom, thank you for your efforts in giving us yet another platform to slack off from work. I think without this app, I could have been european manager at my work by now.

So the mobile website is good now, but is it really better than this app? For example, the Android Unofficial Eurogamer (which is free) is a great wee app, and definitely a better experience than the mobile website.

A pity the app is being retired it functions a lot better than the mobile site IMHO.
