Sub-sonics used to be used in cinemas and theatres to ramp up the fear/dread response.

Yeah, the big problem with wearables has always been A) you look like a twat and B) you smell like one after not very long too.

I'm not sure it's impossible. When I went to see Rammstein I was rumbled very effectively by the sound system and not always in the noisy bits either. It must be possible to vibrate people without deafening them (or their neighbours) and I'm sure you could also play around with some sort of targeting projection with air-manipulation too so that you were only affecting bits of them.

It would cost a bomb, though and still wouldn't solve the problem that most of our sense of touch is in our hands and without a controller in our hands, we feel fuck all in response to our actions.
vibrations too loud and you lose your hearing though...

/points to the word subsonic in TechnoHippy's post

Maybe instead of whole gloves a sort of adjustable, washable, wireless hand net would do the job... or things you could attach to any pair of gloves you already owned, that might be better.

It would have to be varied and on/off according to context, but yes, the brown note is always concern.

It would help break up kidney stones, at least.

That would be an interesting spin-off from Trauma Team.
Each level comprised of a home sonograph(sp) or sonic treatment challenge.

Did Molyneux just say that Lionhead doesn't have any passion or enthusiasm?!?!? (first 30 seconds)

All those years of repressed hatred of his coworkers. He hides it well.

I imagine working with him would sap you of all passion and enthusiasm after a while. Constant disappointment is hard to deal with.
