I'm 99% sure it's the same - it has the same model number - CH-9000114 Plus it looks exactly the same as far as I can tell |

Registered 11 years agoOk, it is *slightly* different in 2 ways apparently.
Mine is a "Vengeance" one, as opposed to a "Gaming" one. Fuck knows what the difference is
And mine is CH-9000115-UK whereas the cheaper one is CH-9000114-UK. Again, not sure on difference, but I think we're splitting hairs here -

Make sure you do your research into what switches you want - red/brown/blue etc
Is that the same one or a different version? If its the same I'll go for it... -

Ah yeah, doing a google shopping search, they mainly come up at that price for refurbished ones, albeit with a warranty.
There's a new one listed at £99 -

Registered 15 years agoUsing a Ducky Shine 4 here, which is great, and made out of solid iron or something. Went through red & black before I found my favourite in blue switches. I didn't like red at all, even though it's always supposed to be the gamer switch. They're OK for gaming I guess but the light actuation meant I hit the wrong keys all the time in normal typing, it was like being a permanently drunk typist. -

I agree, my favourite is blue too. Each to their own and everything, but blue is clearly superior

Registered 14 years agoI prefer brown. Blues have the annoying extra noise.
I have a K70 RGB at home, but would love a mechanical for work. I wouldn't care for any lights or gaming features on that one. -
I have a couple of Filcos, one Majestouch fullsize with brown switches, and a MiniLa with reds. Hard to say but I probably prefer the red switches, though the browns are maybe better for long typing sessions.
Saying that, I use a Torpe Realforce now, and it's hard to go back to anything else having used it. Not cheap, but as I type on it all day at work, worth the investment (to me at least)
If you're looking for a mech in the sub £100 range, you could do a lot worse than look at the range that Cherry offer. And I would vouch for TheKeyboardCompany all day long. Bought lots of stuff of them, and always very helpful with any queries or requests.
