Going to listen to some Dr Feelgood after hearing that Wilko Johnson has terminal pancreatic cancer.

Having seen the seen the state of my wife's dad as he wasted away with pancreatic cancer, I hope he has an easier time of it.

    :(

If anyone would like to drift through some glitch-hop right now, there are some brummie gits playing some here. Halfway though the show.

Simply Red: Sad old red from Picture book cd. No massive lover of MH but I do rather love this album and A new Flame...god I bought that album 24 years ago!

Totally loving this from Mutemath, a bit Jamiroquai meets The Black Keys. That bassy opening riff....

A Pyrrhic Victory EP - My Vitriol

Whatever happened to them? Only ever released one album back in 2000 or something and disappeared, yet apparently still together but just not releasing much else besides this EP...

...as opposed to the postcard of a bikini clad "stunner" Homer sent Marge while he was on holiday with the words "Wish you were HER" ;)

Dexy's 'One Day I'm going to soar' yet again.

If you like records full of character and soul, you need to hear this album.

Later, I will be listening to some Mogwai, after finishing Spec Ops:The line a few days ago.

    Miles Davis - Bitches Brew

I've had this for ages, but never actually heard it. It's got a reputation for being hard work, and I've never really been in the mood for it.

But recently I've been listening to quite a lot of stuff that is new (to me) and I've been pleasantly surprised, so I'm giving it a go.

Just getting into Pharaoh's Dance - so far, so good.
