Registered 9 years agoI've been hearing that quite a lot. I must buy it. I only just got round to ordering mbv's new album from their website t'other day, so it might take a while! -

Registered 9 years agoFinally got My Bloody Valentine's new album ordered at the weekend, so am listening to the mp3's while crunching numbers.
It's great. More of the same as Loveless to an extent, but that's no bad thing IMO and no-one else is doing the same type of thing anyway.
Less time until the next album please folks. -

How are you finding it? I thought it was an improvement on their last two records but still got the sense that is KSE going through the motions.

Registered 7 years ago@TearYouAsunder I like it. It's far from being their best album, but I've been listening to it a lot since buying it last week. Whereas I only listened to their second self-titled album once or twice at the most - that definitely felt like KSE just going through the motions. -

Amon Amarth - For The Stabwounds In Our Backs -
The Terror - The Flaming Lips
From all the reviews I thought this one would take a few listens to get into, but I fell in love with it on first listen. It has a slightly skittish sound to it, like Thom Yorke/Atoms for Peace, but it's all good. This CD sits proudly on my shelf next to the 'big four'. -

Registered 9 years agoI'm actually struggling with it, only been listening to it in the car mind, which isn't really the best place for it. The atmosphere of it is getting a bit lost I think.
I will give it some more time in a few days when I have a load of number-crunching to do at work. -
Yeah, it isn't the first CD i'd grab for a car journey. One to listen to in the house when you just want to chill out. -
One of my fave jazz tunes of all time

From their upcoming album and very much sounds like a return to form, I thought 'Invented' was utter gash. -
