@Vortex808 the second half of the album is way better than the first. Still, it's another Era Vulgaris rather than SFTD Part 2. Disappointing

Linkin Park - Blackout

I'm not a big fan of these guys, generally, but this song kicks arse! I especially like the bits in which it sounds like he sings "You push it back down! Pen in your eye!" It then goes into some kind of 80's synth track, which is the highlight.

The new Vampire Weekend album. Loved the first album, saw them live a few times, but slowly went off it because of the radio-spam. Barely noticed the second album other than the crap single (Cousins?). This is really really good though

Daft Punk's new album, not sure on it yet. I like it but is quite different.

Speaking of, as Spuds has so rightly pointed out, the new QOTSA album is just incredible. Comfortably the best album I've heard so far this year and, given that we've just had the Savages and Vampire Weekend albums, that's saying something.
