I think I wore this out when I used to have it on cassette. -
have to agree on dead weather as well. It a very cool album. Very sexy, and dirty in a way. if that makes sense. Havn't heard there other album though.
Not sure where to place it in the whole W/S, racounteurs thing though. There peices from each i really like.
Been having a morrissey fest of late. Watched a live dvd last night (unrelased hollywood bowl gig - he pulled it for some reason, sound is awesome ! so just been listening to a mix of the smiths and solo material.

I've been listening to it all day on repeat, an excellent album. -

Oh, The Dreaming ? Its more experimental than the first two albums, but still of that era. Better than Never for Ever, just. Listening recently, I thought I could hear some of the production techniques that she would not long after use on Hounds of Love. Being of her earlier period, I think it was/is incredibly original, then and now. I didn't like some of the Red Shoes and Sensual World because it didn't have that same originality (but I liked the recent Directors Cut of those albums). So compared to that, its great. Better than her latest, 50 Words for Snow, not as good as Aerial (which I rated). Still, its Kate, so its all good.
I've somehow managed to not hear a single track off that album, ever. How's it compare with her other stuff. -
