    OK. I realise that I am guilty of spamming the heck out of this thread... but...

    THE NEW WHYTE HORSES ALBUM IS OUT TODAY!!!

    Anyone who likes gently psychedlic 60s/90s style pop with a cynical edge should check it out. Proper springtime music. I love it.

    The new album from The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing cane out today. It's not quite as jaunty or fun as previous albums but if you like in character Victorian themed horror-comedy punk then I'm surely you'll like this

    Echoes: Live in Gdansk. This is as good as it gets. Just so funky. Perfect.

    This sort of track is the reason Music is the absolute top of the Art form, no book, painting, work can eclipse music and what it can give you.

    @BillMurray

    That's some quality punk. Thanks for sharing.

    My cousin Chris had a punk band. That link of yours remined me of them, and made me look them up on youtube, and I found this...

    Sounds good that!

    I listened to one track from a band called Dumb Punts on a music channel I sub to on YouTube and then my recommended feed was suddenly filled with Aussie punk bands. They seem to have a really good punk scene over there. One of my best mates bands' is trying to get a little tour over there sorted for his skate punk band.

    John Williams : Concierto de Aranjuez.

    I love his playing of this, if I could play/master one piece it would be this.

    That's cool. Not heard of that band before. Reminds me a lot of Pavement.

    What the heck is that? Sounds very theatrical.

    Agree about the "swirl" - it is lovely. A bit "prog" for me though, I prefer groovy wig outs to fancy time signatures.

    I bet they are amazing live.

    Best metal song by an indie band is a good one. Not sure either of these are really "metal" but maybe:

    Flux = Rad (Pavement)

    Begging You (Stone Roses)

    @RelaxedMikki makes me want to drop a tab and some speed and have crazy freak-out sex with strangers.

    Which is intended as a massive compliment.

    Well Spoiled Machine in particular is one of those songs that is exactly what I'm looking for.

    @GoatApocalypse

    Perfect.

    I have "acid and speed fuelled sex with strangers" pencilled in for Thursday evening, so I will make sure that track is on my playlist... 😜

    I've got the rest of the week off and i'm already playing all of the same music I played last Friday. I guess my musical direction only goes in one direction when i'm in a good mood.

    Also, this came out 27(!) years ago.
