    Zappa/Mothers : The Roxy Performances.
7cd box set of the 4 (legendary!?!) concerts from 1973 plus extras.

Great stuff, despite some tracks being duplicated theres a lot of mixing it up in the arrangements. Amazing musicianship blah blah blah.
See also Roxy:The Movie to compliment this.

    Quite cool kind of gothabilly.

The really weird thing is I found out about this band from my dad. He's in his 70's.

My dad also likes White Zombie and Green Day, and last year he requested an Avantasia album for Christmas.

My dad has pretty cool taste in music. Or at least, cool in that it's not what you expect from a septuagenarian.

I've been revisiting W.A.S.P's 'Headless Children' album lately after probably over 25 years since last hearing it and man, I'm having a blast.

    Graveyard - Hisingen Blues

The first half of this album bangs, and the title track is sublime:

Second half is dull and forgettable, sadly.

I really like this album, but I that might be true of Graveyard as a whole. But when they reach their highs, boy are they good.

Picked up Masters of Reality (Sabbath) and Up the Downstairs (Porcupine tree)

I been on a massive sabbath binge of late, and realised I hadn't had a physical copy of MOR, and whilst I was travelling I listened to Fear of a blank planet a lot and realised I hadn't brought a PT album for a while. So checking out more there early stuff.

Any Brad fans here? They're one of Stone Gossard's (Pearl Jam) side projects with some lesser-known Seattle buddies. Their debut album "Shame" from 1993 is magnificent, really chilled.

@challenge_hanukkah Not on the train, no. People just stand in the way and get annoyed when you ask them to move politely and you end up having to barge passed them. There's plenty of space and seats.

Mainly I wanted them to hear the song because it features the word cunt a lot.

    BlacKkKlansman: 7/10

Black 1970s cop infiltrates the KKK by telephone, needs to send a white cop to physically be him to infiltrate them in person. Hijinks ensue... not really, it's actually pretty dark in terms of how openly hateful the racists are, but it feels like a black comedy for a lot of it.

I enjoyed it despite what are obvious Hollywood-isations and fictions bolted onto a true story, but what really made it stick in the mind is the end of the film actual, when Spike Lee shows a series of fucking depressing news reports from last year when Trump openly tried to claim that murderous nazi skinhead white supremacists were just really misunderstood good people, which made me fucking cry with pent up rage as it proves barely anything has changed in the 40 years since the film was set, and in fact those animals are being fucking enabled by an utterly evil, narcissistic, poisonous cunt of a man who happens to run the world's most powerful nation :(

EDIT: Oh. Wrong thread I guess...? ;)
