I have the three latest Chemical Brothers tracks on repeat. All three of them void of any obvious collaborations and any attempt to appeal to national radio. The last album to do that was Further, which is my favourite Chems album, so I'm very much hyped!

Definitely possible, it was all over the radio when I started work in my early 20's.

    :-(

On topic, I am listening to Aiden Moffat & RM Hubbert's 'Here lies the body' LP while I analyse data. Funny, bitter and touching. Not all at the same time though. Wish I hadn't had to skip their gig due to other commitments, the album is great.
It also helps mask the other loud typing and water slurping of a student in the cubicle farm around me. Bah.

Other people may not dig it as much mind.

Bit of Sleaford Mods' new LP earlier too.

    Prodigy - No Tourists.

I thought it was a bit shit at first.

I still think it's a bit shit but it's became weirdly enjoyable. Reminds me of Always Outnumbered.

Having a Superunknown weekend to celebrate the 25th anniversary! This album completely changed my life in the 90s... still (imho of course) one of the greatest albums of all time. Maybe not with sales numbers, perhaps it didn't change the world, or start any new movements etc. etc., but from a pure artistic accomplishment point of view I struggle to find any album that tops it, from any other genre or era.

I woke the same as any other day
Except a voice was in my head
It said seize the day, pull the trigger, drop the blade
    And watch the rolling heads

The day I tried to live
    I stole a thousand beggar's change
And gave it to the rich

I can't stop watching Iceland's Eurovision entry. Rammestein vocals, Hotline Miami electro, a gimp playing cages as giant drums, its so perfect.

Listening to a tonne of nirvana rarities at the minute, so much good stuff.

Can't believe Sappy never made it onto an album (compilations excluded).

I love the development of Sappy from Kurt's bedroom boombox demo in 1987 all the way through to the final 1993 "Verse Chorus Verse" version recorded during the In Utero sessions, which is magnificent.... it's the song that he was working on right from the start, then perfected right at the end! I guess he didn't think it suited the In Utero vibe, which is probably right, as great as it is.
