The last couple of Bad Religion albums didnt really grab me, but I'm liking all three of the new tracks. There's not much different in many ways, but it just has a new sense of... urgency that the last couple of albums lacked.

This seems to currently be my 'No Tears' (sick Office Space reference) on the way to work. Random Spotify, not so random.

"This week I ave been mosly listenin to...." The Comet Is Coming's new album at a dangerously high volume. Needs a dark room and a drink for total immersion too.

25 years since Kurt died :( I'll be binging my favourite Nirvana period today, the 1991 autumn/winter European tour... Nevermind was exploding out of nowhere, and they were still playing tiny clubs. Vids like this always give me goosebumps.

Any Brad fans here? They're one of Stone Gossard's (Pearl Jam) side projects with some lesser-known Seattle buddies. Their debut album "Shame" from 1993 is magnificent, really chilled.

Well, Shawn Smith the singer from Brad has died :( Absolutely gutted. If it happened yesterday, sadly I don't think it's a coincidence, and April 5th has claimed another Seattle hero.

Great shout. Was fixing an old, sinking boarded floor yesterday and had this cranked up (albeit not the live version) and the rest of his album. Made the job a lot more enjoyable!!

The new Chemical Brothers album; No Geography. It's brilliant. Very early days, but it's up there with Dig Your Own Hole and Surrender. Not quite on par with Further, but as I say, early days.

The title track is the standout track at the moment.

Maybe the best album ever. Sticky fingers by the rolling stones.

Also listening to the new Chemical Brothers album. It's pretty good, has a nice flow to the album as a whole too.

Beck - Saw Lightning. He's got a new album on the way and the first single is very promising. It's not an instant classic, but has a give to it that suggests it could be a 'cousin' to the Odelay and Guero albums.

Been delving into CJ Bolland back catalogue. Real pain that none of it is on streaming music services. I have the CDs somewhere, but who still uses CDs. Having to resort to youtoob, which is a loss as I assume no royalties are being paid.
