@DUFFMAN5 Completely and utterly. Listen every week certainly, every day sometimes. And in 2019, expresses Brexit Britain so thoroughly, like nothing else.

Pretentious, emo, jumped up teen prog rock. I get that interpretation. It's just 100% wrong.

    Animals >>>>> neighbours animals

    Something slightly more cheerful.

    I'm very drunk.

    A Xmas treat for myself...
Frank Zappa: The Hot Rats Sessions.
I don't normally go for 20/30/40/50 year anniversary box set type of reissues but this really good.

Maybe because I've been listening to Hot Rats for 35 years or so but also because listening to the genesis of amazingly complex pieces of music like Willie the Pimp and Peaches en Regalia via a load of extended jam sessions.

All recorded in the month of July 1969, also included are other tracks from that period like Twenty Small Cigars and Directly From My Heart to You.

I've been doing a lot of driving this last week, there's some really good stuff on this, I feel like I'm in the Hot Rats zone. Also got a FZ board game in the set with themed plectrums for counters \0/

It's 1am and I'm up listening to A Flock of Seagulls and they're awful. I mean, besides the two really popular tracks, they're really, really bad. Wowzers.

bought the Burial compilation - Tunes 2011 to 2019

They're all readily available on EPs, but aside from Street Halo I'd never got round to picking any up. But I remember liking Untrue (which is over 10 years old now !)

It's pretty cool, covering his more soundscapey ambient stuff and some surprisingly dancable, almost electro, albeit electro that's broken and fragmented and covered with tape hiss and vinyl pops.

The Real Thing - Faith No More

Got the album at Christmas and finally managed to get around to listening to it. It's 50 minutes of WTF did I just listen to and I love it.

Epic is probably the most well known track but there is a few to choose from.
