Clear really was a good album. Lot of decent tunes on that album. The Sinead O'Conner song 'Empire' is now stuck in my head.

I can feel a bomb the bass spotify dredge coming on this afternoon after my teams meeting.

I think, Clear is like precursor to this new Avalanche album . What with all the guest appearances

Listening to Clear right now, thanks for that! It nicely breaks up the electronic ambient stuff I was listening to the past weeks while wfh.

The last album I bought from them was Unknown Territory (1991 apparently - I'm old :( ).

Just discovered The Allergies and very much enjoying them.

If this bio doesn't sell them to you then I don't know what will.

"The Allergies have made it their mission to reshape funky vintage sounds for the modern dancefloor. Both skilled turntablists in their own right, and known for their 45 only vinyl sets, the duo of DJ Moneyshot and Rackabeat first bonded over their love of classic hip-hop and beats, then decided to pool their knowledge and skills into making their own music. “We like breaks, funky basslines, horns, and dancefloor grooves. We’re inspired by the golden eras of funk, soul, disco and hip-hop, and we try and cram that into three and a half minutes”.

Been listening to Tripping with Nils Frahm, which is a nice live album and not really what I was expecting from the piano stuff I'd heard in the past from him. Really enjoying it though!

Smashing Pumpkins: Cyr (!) anyway that aside I'm really impressed. Starts very strong, does dip here and there but with over 70 mins and 20 tracks of BC and the Pumpkins that is going to happen.

If you have even a passing interest in the band you will be aware this is very synth heavy, I'm fine with that listening to a far amount of modern DM and enjoying that also.
