Great book covers

What are your favourite book covers?

I love the current covers in the Vintage Classics range.

I love the covers in this style for the Gormenghast books.

I know one shouldn't judge a book by its cover but that doesn't mean one can't appreciate a nice cover.

I've got a real thing for the old Penguin covers, the orange and white ones.

Also there was a recent run from someone where the cove art was done by tattooists - they were very nice.

This is what started me off on the path of James Herbert, then Stephen King. Great cover. Can't remember the stories, but I do remember when I read them way back when, thinking that they were a bit tame compared to Hammer House of Horrors.
