What are your favourite book covers? I love the current covers in the Vintage Classics range. ![]() I love the covers in this style for the Gormenghast books. ![]() I know one shouldn't judge a book by its cover but that doesn't mean one can't appreciate a nice cover. I've got a real thing for the old Penguin covers, the orange and white ones.
Also there was a recent run from someone where the cove art was done by tattooists - they were very nice. -

This is what started me off on the path of James Herbert, then Stephen King. Great cover. Can't remember the stories, but I do remember when I read them way back when, thinking that they were a bit tame compared to Hammer House of Horrors.
