Thanks to terminal terror's heads up I've got one of these beauties winging its way to me sometime soon.

Anyway, I know some of you guys have one of these already. So, what are the best places to find emus for it? I really want to get some retro on, but as all my phones up untill now have had a rotary dial I'm clueless when it comes to good mobile sites.

I just got an SPV C500...and I too would be keen to find out where I can get some decent games on it (the stuff at Orange wolrd looks naff)

retro games would be the weapon of choice

353 Atari games sound good to you?

and a nes emulator, and others? Watch TV onm your phone... Make it walk on water and suck you off AND use a special X-RAY feature to look inside wrapped presents to see what you got early

I too have one of these phone...

Now, do yourself and me a favour, phone orange customer services up and complain like a fan boy that your phone *ONLY* has media player 9 and you want media player 10 on your phone like everyone else on the planet APART from Orange customers...

Orange are being retarded about this, and you really need it to help sync your music and video automatically from/to your PC...

Seriously... call them... call them NOW... dial 150 opt 3,2,2,1,1 and complain!!!

My phone arrived today.

A thing of wonderous beauty it is.

Enourmous screen, tiny buttons. I'm still getting used to the scroller thingy, as pushing it in sometimes results in going up one and selecting that. Annoying, but I should get used to it.

Got used to the rolly selecty thing now.

I'm currently messing around with skins, and I've found some fantastic ones here (sort by something to get loads)

I also installed Beta Player which copes very well with high bitrate, high framerate full res divx video.

11 month free.

The 12 month free one was the k500i, a far inferior phone.

The SPV C500 is in fact the coolest thing ever.

I use Avantgo very heavily on my Palm, so one of the first things I tried to do was to get it on my Smartphone.

Avantgo don't have their software available for Windows Smartphone.

Then one day I looked at the options for Activesync, and there is a little thingy for Avantgo. That is unclickable. If you unplug the phone, then it becomes clickable, but once you plug it back in, it gives up trying to sync Avantgo onto the phone, and goes unclickable again. Very annoying.

Got it on Christmas Eve.

I didn't get a new gadget for Christmas, mostly money, so this gadgetastic device compensated me very well.

Mmm... Gonna get me a 256mb memory card for 20 quid from ebuyer, then get all the lucasarts classics on there as well as whatever else takes my fancy. I like the fact that it comes WITH a data cable and the syncing actually works (/glares at old T610 with temperamental bluetooth).

I could do with a good chess game on that thing.

I have just played through a few minutes of indy jones and the fate of atlantis, and the quality is amazing. It is a little frustrating trying to move the mouse cursor around with the keypad though...

Saw a nice program you can use to rip DVDs to it as well.

All in all, I'm really pleased - particularly that I didn't go for the k700i instead.

Meh, I've got a MP3 player and digital camera anyway.

had this phone for ages and its pretty sweet, battery life is good & like someone said earlier solitaire on teh shitter does pass the time well

if anyone does find a good poker game id like to know, kinda bored of solitaire
