Registered 14 years agoIt's up for £32.99 and no US style discount. The old £=$ trick strikes again! Going to have to wait until payday for this one.

Registered 9 years agoYeah at that price I'll have to wait for a sale. I'm sure it!s worth that much but not getting screwed just because I live in the UK. -

Registered 18 years agoHow much is it in the US? You could always buy a USD PSN ticket from Amazon.com. The trick is to put a US billing address even with a non-US card. It'll still work. -

Registered 15 years ago£33 ?! Bloody hell, I could've started the US download already. Was looking to keep it on my main account, but I'll settle for the cheaper option.
ED: Ha ! Can get two $20 cards for......£32, or a $50 for a quid more. Might as well look to see if there's owt else to justify it. Thought there'd be better deals than that.

Registered 15 years ago£28 is too much for digital only. Sadly this is going to be a 'wait for a sale or physical release' situation. Charging us more than the now undiscounted US price doea not help my lack of goodwill. If they had stuck the bugger on a disc then I'd have happily paid that or a even a bit more but no... Indie games manage to afford disc releases but not 23GB games that were designed as disc-based retail games in Japan, oh no...
I need to check if any of the physical Asian rumours panned out as a sale may take a while. Ah well, plenty of other stuff to play and I still have Dead Souls, Kenzan, Ishin and the Japanese 5 and 0 to keep me busy. I was enjoying 0 despite needing an e-dic at hand with its hefty vocabulary and slang (and period stuff I imagine). -

Registered 14 years agoI was hoping for £24.99, but I'll bite at £28. I think it's as good as it's going to get for a while really, and I love me some Yakuza. -

Registered 15 years agoI am a big fan of the series (thus owning all games bar the Kurohyous in one form or another (skipped 1&2HD as got the PS2 games and heard it wasn't the best port) but for me to day 1 the digital it needed to be £24.99 plus the discount really and that would have made it the most I have paid for a PSN game. I still think not releasing a limited physical run was a mistake (even if they SEd it so they could charge even more) -

I usually don't like getting games digitally, but its Yakuza... That series needs all the support it can get! I want more releases over here! -

Registered 12 years agoSega seem to be doing everything in their power to hobble this game's release. The fact it was only added to the store on the day and wasn't in the coming soon part of the store has me fuming. I kept checking back until I could buy it but I'm a dedicated fan. More casual fans have probably already forgotten about it being announced. Seaga are a right bunch of asshats. They better not be using this as some kind of barometer for the Yakuza 0 release in Europe.
Also, sod the reviews. It's like Dynasty Warriors, you either click with it or are left scratching your head wondering what the fuss is all about.

Registered 9 years agoI love the taxi driving and the street racing so much. Mechanically the street racing is laughably poor but it is so ridiculously Japanese (the heat actions make me laugh every time) and the taxi modifying is so silly. Would you really get in to a taxi with flame decals? -
I think it's laughable when you take your street racer cab onto the normal taxi missions, of which there are too few. The 'story' ones are short and sweet, yep, but there's something perversely satisfying about driving properly against the clock.
The inverse Crazy Taxi, if you will.
Finished Act 1 today, with a very nice finale, and opened up Act 2 with a karaoke session with Saejima. I implore everyone to make it their first port of call, and the second song available.
Tears, tears of laughter at the ridiculously OTT VA work that went into such a performance.
And still, nobody does faces better than this.
