Can anyone recommend me some decent OCR software?

Haven't played with anything along those lines in a long time.

Free and good is great, but I might be able to buy something if it made a difference.

    Cheers

Google Docs on a tablet or phone will let you convert a photo into text.

I ended up grabbing omni page which did a pretty decent job.

Saved me a lot of wasted time.

Evernote OCRs anything you put into it, you can even edit the text on a sign in the background of a photo.
I might try that some time.

    Cheers for all the suggestions.
