    @Armoured_Bear Probably a tough call. You can certainly clean up those motion blur uglies a bit on PC, but the controller bugs remain annoying. If the controller issues get patched, then PC probably becomes a no-brainer, but it's slightly tricky to recommend it in its current state.
    Cheers, I'll hold off a bit, I have too much to play just now anyway.

    I was in bed already but I had to stand up now and started the game :D I'm playing on a 4k tv and it's sharp. Even when running. There's a slight blur when panning the camera but it's not distractingly bad. And the overall blur is nothing like the Wii version (took a quick look at YT). Now, back to bed.
    Thanks for checking! What version are you playing? Has anybody tried the Xbox One version on Xbox One or X?

    The PS3 version seems pretty faithful to the original version, it would be interesting to see it running on a CRT, Okami is perhaps a game that fits in with that era.

    I'd be surprised if the new version was worse than the Wii version.

    @VanillaLake I'm on ps4 pro.

    Like I said, I find the current version very beautiful and the motion blur not distracting. My personal opinion of course.

    Ok, so I got frustrated by the intermittent controller issues on PC and tried with mouse and keyboard, fully expecting it to be terrible (this is a genre where I would almost always use a controller).

    It isn't. In fact, after a short adjustment period and a bit of remapping, I can safely say it's the best way to play this game. Having the brush on mouse is fantastic.

    I have been surprised in the past myself at how some games that really shouldn't work well with M&K work surprisingly well. The oddest kf them for me was Batman:Arkham City (had no controller for a while but tried it out anyway and completed it with kb&m)

    I am looking at this Okami port but I have the physical (Asian English) PS3 version so debating if I really need it... (And the PS2 original)

    @One_Vurfed_Gwrx Stick with the PS3 version, I've had it on that, PS2, Wii and PS4 and that one was the best.
    Thanks for the reply. I couldn't really see there being much new for this version anyway with the PS3 one already downsampling from some ridiculous resolution (apparently). Enough to buy without needing a new Okami when I already have a decent physical copy.

    We really need an Okami face-off!
