This is a tricky one. Everytime I hear Keep the car running by The Arcade Fire it reminds me of a song from the 80's or maybe early 90's. Thinking of the song reminds me of never gonna give you up but I don't think its Rick Astley who sings it. |
What song reminds me of "Keep the car running"?

No idea but the lead singer sounds a bit like Robert Smith from The Cure. -

Registered 18 years agoThe song I'm thinking of is more mainstream than The Cure. A bit like "Wicked Game" with Cris Isaac but more light rock.
Damn it. Really annoying. The song is a guilty pleasure and everytime I hear it I think I should look it up but then I never do and now I can't remember the lyrics. -

Registered 17 years agoWait. You think Rick Astley is 'light rock'? Did I read that right? -

Registered 18 years ago@Murbal No but I can see how it looks that way. I was trying to say that the song I'm thinking of is more 80's light rock (in lieu of a better word for it) than Wicked Game. The song I'm trying to remember is probably not Rick Astley though. -
