I think maybe take the bottom bun off the chicken mayo.

    So it goes:

    bun
    cheese
    beef
    bun
    chicken
    bun
    cheese
    fish
    bun
    cheese
    burger
    bun

That is epic, I want it.
The construction is about to start

Yeah, that sort of thing. Thick burgers take too long to cook and they're too greasy.

I spose I could defrost some birdeye's and take a rolling pin to them, but it's hassle.
If you bought some thick supermarket ones (fresh ones I mean), those would be quite easy to flatten out between two sheets of greaseproof paper. Zero mess. You could even just plonk a couple of heavy books on them then go to the pub for an hour.

If you have a butcher nearby, I'm sure they would press you a few thin ones

DB I have been looking for those myself for many years. I have yet to find a supermarket or butcher that carries them.

Added bonus is you can add spices etc when you squish them. I had some supermarket ones sprinkled with jerk seasoning last week, they were proper tasty.

The very idea of that 3 way mess of a burger makes me ill

I worked at Maccies as a student though. That might have something to do with it.

It was quite nice in some ways...awful in others. Couldn't taste the beef. Anyway..on the table next to me was a nice girl who stared at me in disgust while I was preparing it.

I struck up a conversation with her, and by the end of it (and the burger) I have her number :D Awesome fucking day.

I should have got a photo of her holding it or something, but, I didn't want to push my luck.

Yay, good work. That link doesn't work for me (our work server hates photobucket) but I assume it looks as bad as I imagine.
  • Deleted user 4 February 2013 14:17:53
Ah sorry pete, I took a good number of photos this the photobucket link. Indeed, it does look awful :D
  • Deleted user 4 February 2013 14:35:16
That's the single foulest thing I've seen in years.

    Also:

    If anyone is:

    A) going to Oxford any time and is,
    B) Vegetarian

    [post now rendered redundant]

the Gardener's Arms in Jericho (not the one on North Parade) does really nice veggie burgers. I know this is scarilege in such a thread, but as a veggie they're my favourite, and have something very satisfying about them. Nice cider, chips and a ton of sauces and stuff too.

But he did manage it while concocting possibly one of the worst burger creations I have ever heard of. The construction of which must scream 'I am a slightly odd human being with a terrible diet', so he surely gains kudos for turning that around!

Not that overly many in McDonalds may be that discriminating about their diet.

    @LEXX - I feel like the wizard in the Disney's Fantasia! I come back and I find, ... :-O

I salute you tho from one mighty burger warrior to another! Your quest was true and just. You built a towering mountain of burger and nobody can take that away from you ( unless they are really hungry ) Yes, it looked like a dogs dinner or maybe a horse burger, but damn it was huge, it was crazy, it was meaty, it was cheesey, and unadvisable for health resaons... You are a worth disiple!
