Hello fellow EG people. Just a bit of advice required please..! Over the past 3 days I have had 3 letters turn up for someone that does not live in my house. Each one of these is from a mobile phone provider, O2, Tesco and Vodafone. Each one has a Pay as You Go sim inside and I have not requested any of these. I just phoned Tesco and they said there is nothing they can do and just to bin it, but I feel something untoward may be going on..! Any advise people..? Thanks. SJR. |

Registered 16 years agoPut them back in post, write not known at this address on the envelope. There'll probably be a return address on the envelope so it'll get to them and hopefully they'll update their records. -

Registered 14 years agoSome sim-fiend probably missed a digit in their address or something.
Wouldn't bother sending them back, as if experience tells me anything, very few companies strike your address from their list.
Save yourself the walk to the postbox and bin them.
Or use them for crankers. -

Registered 18 years agoPAYG sims are nothing to worry about. You can't do anything with them until they are activated.
I have 3-4 kicking around myself in case I lose my phone.
Keep em' or bin em'.

Registered 17 years agoVodafone pestered my friend into accepting a "free" sim, she cancelled it afterwards but they still charged £10 extra a month to her account. She didn't realise for about 8 months but they would only refund 3 months in total.
I don't think that's what's happening here by the way, just that free sims are not always free. -

Talking of spiders, i had 3 False Widdows on my french doors this week, the GF is a little freeked out as their bite can be REALLY nasty..!
