I'm trying to buy Disgaea from Game for the bargain price of £19.99.

However, when I add my card details I am told "Invalid Card Type", lol (laugh out loud). I am using my VISA debit card issued from the Halifax bank. Anyone seen this before? Any ideas what may be causing this?

    TIA (thanks in advance)

Sometimes Visa debit card aren't accepted since they aren't proper Visa cards, you could look for Visa Delta or some such that might make it work. I know I couldn't use the Oyster Card sign up because of this problem.

Have you used the card online before without problems? I have a Visa Electron debit card but can't use it online for whatever reason.

You could try giving them a call.

That seemed to work. Thanks very much.

I was under the impression that Visa and Visa Delta were two very different things, but apparently not.
