Does anyone know, prey tell, if a phone bought in the UK will work in Ireland.
Hoping I can just pop an Irish SIM into a phone I'm swaping with one of the formulites. Just need to know it will work before I go ahead with the swap.

    Thanks, as always.

Yes, it will work, although it might need to be unlocked the same way as it would if you wanted to use it on a different UK network.

    (This is Rutty's missus btw!)

Edit: I'm about 90% sure that it will work... but a second opinion would be a good idea :)

ngages are triband so will work in all of europe and the usa. m assuming europe includes ireland so it should be ok. also, if you are trying to unlock a nokia, you can do it on most nokias, definately an ngage just by typing in a code when you turn it on. its a piece of weewee

    That settles it, thanks tomrowley101.
Unlocking should be a pile of wee. Thats exactly what I did with the N6600.
