Does anyone know, prey tell, if a phone bought in the UK will work in Ireland. Hoping I can just pop an Irish SIM into a phone I'm swaping with one of the formulites. Just need to know it will work before I go ahead with the swap. Thanks, as always. |
Quick phone question.

Registered 18 years agoYes, it will work, although it might need to be unlocked the same way as it would if you wanted to use it on a different UK network.
(This is Rutty's missus btw!)
Edit: I'm about 90% sure that it will work... but a second opinion would be a good idea.gif)

Registered 18 years agongages are triband so will work in all of europe and the usa. m assuming europe includes ireland so it should be ok. also, if you are trying to unlock a nokia, you can do it on most nokias, definately an ngage just by typing in a code when you turn it on. its a piece of weewee -
