Active-x error message - help please

    Could someone please tell me what this error message means in laymans terms."Your current security settings prohibit running active x controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly". It's driving me round the bend!!!. Can anyone help!!!

    You don't allow active X controls to be executed. Lower your security level 1 notch in IE's security panel and try again.

    However, lots of malignant code can attack your machine so don't lower security too much.

    sounds like interent explorer. Go to tools> options and look for a security slider type thing, I think

    go to www.firefox.com and download a new browser
