I'm not an expert on this, just like the drink. For your benefit, I pulled this from Wikipedia:
What the flying fuck is a chai latte? A tea made with steamed milk and spices with more steamed milk (assuming the espresso is omitted for sanity)? But still, milky tea?
Or is it just Chai for stupid wankers? Chai already contains milk.
Numerous coffee houses use the term chai latte for their version to indicate that the steamed milk of a normal latte is being flavored with a spiced tea concentrate instead of with espresso, without necessarily implying the addition of coffee. Some coffeehouses and brand names refer to their product as chai tea latte.

Registered 13 years agoSpiced tea concentrate.. Yummy. How could anyone not love the idea of boiled down tea, a thick and syrupy concentrate with added spice flavourings, bottled and preserved then added to steamed milk. -

I just get their hot chocolate and soft butter cookie things that are delicious. I have family who work at one, so all gratis, of course. I wouldn't go otherwise.
Oh, their scones are good too! -

It's amusing how people get so uppity about choice of coffee franchise.
Not just reserved to gaming forum nerds either. Pretty widespread epidemic of retardism. -

Why is it Starbucks fault that the government let's them get away with this?
It's all down to legislation when it comes to tax. -

Bah, I suppose you're right in this context, as I assume Starbucks aren't making massive profits from investments, and their income from their store in a store operations probably doesn't come to much against their sales of (barely) consumable liquids.
Erm...

Yes, it is. Sales/revenue/turnover is the same thing.

Not sure why Amazon employ someone who comes across as incompetent (I'm sure he's not). If they don't want to disclose their financials then they should make that clear before the questioning starts. -

@Kostabi probably not far from the truth, because the news story will now be focused on how useless and incompetant this guy's performance was rather than on what he actually said. -

It seems like Google didn't send a chimp at least. Amazon looking like they don't give a fig could go badly for them later on. -

The MPs seem to be just grandstanding for the select committee cameras at the minute, without fully understanding that they've created and perpetuated the system that these companies operate in. -
