I personally want to be in the EU as the concept of multi nations working together and pulling resources is positive.
However there are elements to it which are not right and this is where UKIP get their ammo. Although not all countries are the same and so shouldn't be treated I such I do appose just inviting anyone in and then subsidising them such as do we really need all the money leaving the economy due to polish workers? Did Britain not have a work force before Poland joined the EU? Will Romania add to our economy in trade?
I like the concept but not the implementation sometimes. -
Do we not sell services to Poland and Romania? Do the workers keep our prices down (positive and negative)? We're not subsidising anything we get back as well as put back.
We even have a rebate for that point.

Despite their polemics, they know too well that the plebs' vote against the EU will ruin the UK.
Why not do the reasonable thing and just submit to Germany? -
I'm not sure the EU needs any more reform than the UK does. -

It's easy for Germany to look powerful. Especially when they hide all their troubles under the rug. -

Registered 9 years agoWe have had many revolutions and civil uprisings to have the life we have today (taken for granted by the majority, I might add!). If people in other countries want our life style, they must do the same. They cannot do so hiding in other countries that are overpopulated enough! -

Registered 20 years agoI guess that Germany could do pretty well off selling cars to the BRICS countries and foregoing the tariff savings it gets for selling cars within the EU. -

Do you have any idea what some countries in Africa do to gay people?
Fucking hell, if anything is a valid reason to be granted asylum, it's people fleeing gay persecution in Africa. -

What I am saying is, nothing will change in their country if they run away from the problems.
So, in your eyes all those in the Congo who had limbs cut off should move here too?
