Never had an issue with them, and I've been a customer since they were BT Cellnet.

Never had any problems, apart from the fact they wanted 44 a month and 100 up front for a Galaxy S3 on upgrade when they forst came out. Went and got one on 3 for 33 a month and free phone.

Broadband customer service was the fucking mutts nuts, though.

Carphone Warehouse; now they really are a shower of lying, money grabbing cunts.

I think you should present some evidence to support your argument :)

Ordered an upgrade via their (dreadful, non-functioning) website; it managed to dredge up an address I haven't lived at for over a year (the order process doesn't show you the address to which they'll send the phone 'til you've finalised the order). So the new phone will be sent there. Where - obviously - it'll be nicked by the new inhabitants.

    Cunt score +1

Took over an hour to speak to customer services who then told me that they couldn't change the order as it had been despatched. When I asked them how that could be (given that they'd previously told me that there was a waiting list) they backtracked and said that their system didn't allow them to cancel orders.

    Cunt score +2

So when I muttered and swore at them, they said they'd try and change the order with Cuntphone Whorehouse. Cue me sitting on the phone for another 30 mins.

    Cunt score +3

Oh. And their call-waiting music is "Say my name, say my name" over and over again.

    Cunt score +infinity billion

Maths proves them to be cunts.

    Time of the month.

I've been waiting since Tuesday morning for O2 to activate my sim card for a replacement phone.

The first time I was told it would take 2-24 hours to activate but it hardly ever takes that long. 24 hours later The second time I was told the previous person forgot to action it and it will take another 2-24 hours to activate.

Called up about 4 yesterday to check what the progress is and they said the other 2 times times no one had place an activation on the sim! They activated the sim but said it will take another 2-24 hours to remove a bar on the account (lost phone). It's been 23 hours now.

That is utter incompetence. I've checked the T&C's and there is nothing in there allowing me to exit the contract without payment due to incompetence.

I'm going to try lowering my tariff to the lowest possible and then attempt to terminate that.

It's frustrating as it appears you have fuck all right to terminate where as they can do whatever they want.

Theres loads of arse covering in the Ts & Cs. I tried to cancel my wifes contract after they put the bill up mid term because she cant get a signal in our house and even that is covered in there.
  • Deleted user 20 December 2012 15:35:05
Yup and their allowed to put up the prices as long as it's only once a year at RPI and it doesn't make the next months bill more than 10% higher than previous.

We have to sign these fucking things to get a service at all. I deal with contracts like this for a living and as soon as we see shit like that we instantly reject the contracts and get them to amend it. However as a consumer to a massive corp we have basically zero bargaining power.
