Registered 13 years agoAgreed.
Although the only thing I didn't really like was the proposed league structure and the COMPLETELY INSANE split in to 3 leagues of 8. I mean, seriously, wtf?
Otherwise the change to voting structure, fairer distribution of wealth, one governing body etc all sounded pretty damn good. -

Make guilty teams/fans play behind closed door game as punishment? Too harsh? Not harsh enough? -

Registered 7 years agoI think Hearts have only started playing since they were officially relegated, been beating teams left, right and centre ever since.
The bottom half of the table has been where the action is ever since the split. Very exciting stuff. Anyone from about five or six teams could end up in the play off spot, and when they're all playing each other every week every game is huge.
Kilmarnock losing 5-0 to Hearts is a great result for me (Thistle fan). Does some nice damage to their goal difference as well. -

Only a Rangers fan could say that with a straight face.
Been a poor season for scottish football. The sooner rangers back the better.
The Premiership and Championship divisions have been more exciting than ever, with more meaningful games at the end of the season than I can remember in my lifetime.

Registered 7 years agoIt hasn't made much difference to the quality of the league. It might be ever so slightly less shit with Rangers in it (although if you've watched Rangers in the last couple of years you'll know they're pretty stinking). To be honest, I can't say I've missed the poison of the Old Firm rivalry. I'm not looking forward to the first derby, whether it's in the league or a cup.
No guarantee Rangers will get out of the Championship next season anyway, especially with Hearts and A.N. Other down there (maybe Hibs). They've stumbled their way past a bunch of part-timers, but now it's something more like actual sides. -

Registered 6 years agoI haven't seen that many games this season but I was under the impression that, apart from Celtic winning easily, it was a great season with some really nice football from the likes of Dundee Utd, higher attendances and some great games. -

This pretty much sums up this season.

If United and Motherwell (and some others of course) can take more points from Celtic, and Aberdeen keep up their progress to the same extent as this year, then Celtic might not walk it quite so easily next year.
Frankly, what this shows is get rid of Celtic as well as Rangers and we would have an extremely competitive league with every team believing they could win it. -

Registered 15 years agoYeah from Aberdeen down it's a pretty exciting league. I've seen a few games and the quality is getting there. For some reason I find myself drawn to St Mirren (and no, it's not their kit). -

We really did only start playing after relegation was confirmed. If we'd played like this all season we'd have been fine despite the deduction. Never mind.
Actually looking forward to the change of scene and opposition next year. At least the club is still there... -

Not counting my chickens just yet though, Thistle's habit of shitting themselves with seconds to go is remarkable. -
