I had a go a couple of weeks back. The cube did not appear to be smaller.

I had a go last night, the cube was full of pictures, i removed about 50 blocks and it said layer finished! And it gave me 30000 points. Then the cube was full of blocks again. So I guess i finished a layer just by luck.
