Cheesy song ahoy! In the lyrics it mentions 'where eagles cry' why would they have not just said 'where eagles fly' makes no sense!! Pretty sure if eagles did cry they wouldn't do it whilst flying (which the song insinuates) ...

The eagle is a metaphor for the American spirit so maybe they are sad that bourbon isn't as good as Scotch.
