@Ror aye doing the early raids on easy is a lot of fun. When doing them on hard with it's bullshit 1 death = wipe it gets less fun. -

I'm kind of looking forward to King's Fall, being the first raid that came out after I started playing. Probably that feeling will fade after about 10 minutes of the pre-Warpriest room though of course. -

Registered 14 years agoOf course the last item I need to reach 400, is the one item that never pops out. My kingdom for a pair of boots.
Also a couple days ago I was invited by some randoms for a WotM raid. They had mics, but sounded like only a couple of them actually knew what they were doing (I had a vague idea from watching it on the tube). After more than one hour we were still stuck on Vosik's second phase. And then I had to leave.
Lesson of the day, don't rely on randoms for raids.

@Malek86 just be glad you didnt get to aksis phase 2.
Unless you have all competed the raid enough to know all the mechanics (or with a team who can do it with their eyes closed) i wouldn't recommend doing WOTM without a dedicated team. The level of co-ordination is insane. -

Registered 14 years ago@Graxlar_v2 yeah, for comparison, I think it would be possible to pull off the Vault of Glass with a team of randoms, assuming they have mics and know the basic gist of it. That's how I completed it back before the launch of TTK (of course I was the baggage, just shooting the small fries to help the experienced players out).
They really went crazy with the mission requirements for WotM.

Registered 16 years agoAnd this right there is why raid matchmaking isn't and shouldn't be in Destiny. Even Guided Games I can't see being used too much if LFG/The100 are still around.

Registered 14 years agoI think Raids could have a matchmaking option on Normal but the Heroic version should remain fire team only.
On Destiny 2 it should be theoretically possible to have matchmade Raids. (A solo person setting themselves up as a Clan and asking for 5 team mates on guided games).
I am interested to see how that works out. (Terribly I suspect). -

Registered 14 years agoYeah, though I had seen it on the tube and read about it, so I had a vague idea about what to do.
I really need to get people together for another Vault run someday. But at this point, nobody plays the normal raids anymore, and I don't wanna have to deal with too many shielded enemies in the Heroic version.
