Played through the first one again recently and it really is a fantastic game. Im looking forward to seeing how the GamePad is going to be implemented for the sequel - God knows what Platinum will come up with!

I STILL haven't got around to playing the original. It's been recommended to me a number of times, so I should probably get around to playing it before this surfaces. I'm sure i've got plenty of time though lol.

@Raiko101 seriously do. 360 version is much better if you have both consoles.
I rarely repeat games but I played it through on easy normal and hard it was so much fun.

I wish I was excited by this but the first bored me. I'm not sure what all the fuss was about. Prefered Vanquish from Platinum. Agree though they should release the first on the Wii U.

The original, game play wise, 10 out of 10.

I'm really looking forward to this, just concerned about how forced-in gamepad features could ruin it. I'm hoping Platinum Games told Nintendo they'd make them a seperate game built for the gamepad (The Wonderful 101) if they could leave out any unnecessary features in Bayonetta 2.

I'm also hoping they take the "bigger, better, more badass" approach to making the sequel but can't wait to hear more about it!

Loved Bayonetta the game, hated Bayonetta the cut-scenes.

The game was so much fun - had the atmosphere of Ninja Gaiden too with the music and environments.

Definitely looking forward to this, after all I won't have anything else to play on my Wii U after I've completed NSMBU!

The original has one of the tightest control systems ever. Up there with the best Ninja Gaiden, better than DmC. Story was madly Japanese but you pays yer money and you takes yer choice. Personally I loved it.

Bayonetta was a perfect storm of loony fun. It's plot was such charming nonsense because it didn't even try to make sense or be original. I was absolutely pap at it and ended up using the cripple mode just to get through it.

Unfortunately, this is a must buy for me so at some point I have no choice but to get a Wii U

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for that! I wonder if it's just going to be Nintendo forcing some gamepad features though? At least it would be kept away from the single player that way mind.

I quite liked the first one but hated the long and tedious cut scenes. I feel I'm getting too old for over the top violent stuff, it just bores me now. Dare I say it, I like to play exactly the solid yet conservative titles they revealed yesterday!

Still, I hope it will turn out to be an excellent game and push the Wii U forwards a bit.

Everytime I see clips of Bayonetta I lose focus of whats going on and just look at the main characters clothes randomly going missing. Its like a super fast version of those scenes from Austin Powers where they walk around in the nude.
