I have been going through some of these in preparation for Elden Ring, clearing up final achievements.

DS3 is done, farming for covenant items is not that bad when you put luck to 99 and get all the gear and coins going.

DS2 is a bit of a shitter though, as the items don't drop. Luckily, there seem to be a lot of players still active.

Going to need to do blue and sunbro covenants to max level to get spells.

Going to roll a cheap ass pyromancer with a rapier. Thrust weapons are so broken in this game for PvE

@Akumer you can max covenant items offline. Sun medals drop from the falconers in shaded woods. Not a bad drop rate.

Oh ok, I was reading a wiki last night and it didn't seem like they were item drops. That's good news.

Though I might try to get the majority by helping people on bosses, just because it's more fun.

Whats a good SL and boss to farm? I haven't played this in a good while.

Might start this next actually. Done nioh, b.b., sekiro in a row and currently early on in DS3. I wish eldin ring would hurry along, I want that new "omg where the hell is the next bonfire" feeling again.

@Akumer honestly not sure. Worth soul memory etc i never knew where i was with online. I did my platting all offline though so it's totally possible. You can farm the mad warrior to level up bell bros for example. Takes a while but i honestly thought the ds3 farming was worse.

Well that's good news then. It only took me about 2 hours to farm all the DS3 ones. Must be quicker because no luck stat?

@Akumer Lucky bastard! Ha ha I'm not going to tell you how long it took me to farm Silver Knights in AL. 3 days. 4?

DS2 will take longer than 2 hours but I think the worst one is the mad warrior farming as he doesn't always spawn.

@wuntyate Yeah the silvers were probably the worst. I had a few from being summoned and the one or two you find in the world, so 2 hours was probably for 20 of them.

99 luck and all possible boosts from gear and items.

I also reloaded the game whenever I got one, as someone online said it resets something. Seemed to do the trick.

    Never doing it again!

    @Akumer Likewise. It was horrible.

I don't remember having to farm anything in dark souls 1. That's really easy to platinum. I think you can do it on one character in a couple of NG+ cycles.

Plus you can get to anor londo in an hour once you're over levelled.

@Akumer Yeah DS1 and BB have been the most enjoyable. Then some distance down DS2, then a MASSIVE distance below that, DS3. Especially all those fucking rings.

The rings one was bullshit. Having to go through NG+ to get the plus versions was daft.

And the wolf ring from the covenant.

Covenant achievements can just fuck off.
