Anyone else get copmpletely blootered by Hurricane Bawbag last night.

I was trying to work in a way of describing how my chimney fell off and bounced off my car, came through the window and landed on my PC to my home insurance people :)

Sadly I dont think they'll buy it.

I did actually lose one of my chimneys last night and a fair few tiles. Bloke across the street has one of his trees leaning against his house O_O

    Wild. Completely wild.

It's chuffing 'orrible here at the minute. Gales, driving rain, work. It's enough to drive you back to bed!

    Especially the work.

I'm weird and love rough weather as it makes me feel more alive, but here in Cardiff some of the winds coming off the sea caused a slight tinge of nervousness. God knows how they are feeling in Cumbria and Scotland...

It's nice and calm in the south of france at the minute. Bit chilly like, but beautiful blue skies :)

I'm right on the coast in Ayrshire and I was bricking it all night. Hardly slept a wink. I've never seen anything like it first hand.

Nothing in London, it's just the usual Hot Air from the management.

Was a bit gusty here last night. The cat was mildly distrubed, till he fell asleep (ETS - 3 minutes). It's all quiet and quite fine this morning.

Tis quite sunny today. Windspeed according to the wind-o-meter on the roof of the building puts it at around 65 knots, so not exactly slow...!

Wouldn't fancy being on the roof today though..

I bet. Was up on Orkney camping out in a tent for 9 days in Sept 2003 and the tent just about stayed in the ground, but I dont think the winds were 120mph as reported in most of Scotland! Think its supposed to be easing off today....

Not eased off enough to stop a massive tree falling on to the train line that I use to get home :(

Trains are crap. Work sucks. And the usual place I go to get my Bacon roll fix still has a sign up saying they are closed for the holidays! Where else will I get my deep fried bacon!

    Deja vu.

Wind's been strong enough to blast the ivy we've got growing on the front of the house clean off...!

Wondered what it was flapping against the livingroom window when I got up yesterday. O_O

I'm with Madder Max on this one; I kinda like rough weather, it gives me a guilty thrill, hearing the crashing of wind, rain and thunder outside.

Did anyone else have snow yesterday? It was mad, and it made up for the lack of proper snow on Christmas day.
